I started working at CANDANA some thirty years ago with my husband Richard. Coming from a legal field for eight years prior to that, there was quite an adjustment to be made in switching to the building industry.
In the early years I discovered that most women were to some extent, intimidated to deal with the selection process required for their homes, particularly with regard to their bathrooms.
By selecting a range of more feminine pleasing items such as, back to wall toilets (easier cleaning) and hand showers that stayed put in their holders (at last!), we found that our clientele changed as people felt they were being listened to and appreciated.
Over the years we have been able to identify products which last the duration of the bathroom without seeming dated just years after installation.
Whilst with CANDANA I have truly appreciated meeting a wide range of customers and suppliers from all backgrounds and often feel they have become like an extended family.
