Please sir, may I have some Moore?!

Known for his minimal, sleek approach to architecture and design, Ian Moore has recently created a fantastic black and white home in our backyard (Surry Hills) and we think it is monochromatic genius!

Originally built in 1895 as a grocery warehouse, the Strelein Warehouse is a beautiful blend of black and white and simple, clean fixtures.

Glazing the top of the bathroom walls has bathed the room in glorious light and Moore’s use of white and mirror maximise the space and open up the room to create a spacious bathing area.
This warehouse conversion has been fitted with Vola stainless steel tapware throughout (including the kitchen). The magnificent lines of Vola accentuate the minimalism of the warehouse and the use of the stainless steel finish gives a commercial edge.

The Strelein warehouse is another example of the ‘less is more’ approach beautifully reflected in Ian Moore’s work.
So clearly in this case, less is Moore.
