It is with bated breath that we await Pantone’s announcement each year as to which colour will be the trend in design, fashion and general lifestyle. 2018’s Ultra Violet proved to be a polarising one and I think 2019’s may have the same effect. We present to you the colour of 2019: Living Coral.

So how can we incorporate this lively hue into our homes and more specifically our bathrooms? Unlike 2018’s Ultra Violet, I think this one may be a lot easier! Handmade tiles in a bright coral with crisp white sanitaryware is a perfect combo, pairing coral with brass or even black tapware is a perfect way to enhance this colour and bring a contemporary look to your bathroom. Or for a subtle way to bring coral into your bathroom, throw some beautiful coral Turkish towels into a monochrome space.
Only time will tell if this bright and optimistic colour will translate into our homes, but we are definitely excited by the possibilities.
