What is Millennial Pink (aka Tumblr pink)?
It’s not actually one colour but rather it’s a range of pink shades from beige with a dusting of blush to a salmon-peach hybrid and it is EVERYWHERE.
From Fashion and interiors to graphic design and film, this spectrum of pinks has taken over a generation.
It is thought to have started in 2014 with Wes Anderson’s beautiful, retro-kitsch film The Grand Budapest Hotel but it could also be easily attributed to Apple’s release of the Rose Gold iPhone in 2015 or Pantone’s colour of 2016 Rose Quartz.
Whatever its origins it is here to stay and is being embraced in bathrooms worldwide.
Wether its a splash of pink in your towel choice, or a more bold approach with a pink terrazzo floor- the trend can easily work into any scheme.
We recommend pairing these pinky tones with brass, bronze or copper tapware for a complimentary look that isn’t too feminine.
