It’s no secret that I love colour, so when I came across a New York townhouse designed by Ghislaine Vinas I knew this was the start of a design infatuation.
Ghislaine (pronounced “ghee-lan”) was born in The Netherlands, raised in South Africa and currently lives in New York, so it’s no wonder her work has a certain international sensibility and freedom about it.
Ghislaine’s work is just out-of-this-world amazing and the way she uses colour and texture make me want to cry tears of design joy!
It’s very theatrical and almost cartoon-like but it works and transports you to your own contemporary wonderland.
There is a sense of fun, humor and enthusiasm in Ghislain’s work, which I find so refreshing and could never tire of.
